Dr. Steve Snodell has been in the practice of orthodontics for over 20 years. He received his dental education from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and his training in orthodontics from the University of Oklahoma Dental School.

Dr. Snodell completed a Master's degree and has contributed articles for The American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr Snodell served three years in the United States Air Force as a Dental Officer, where he also completed a General Practice Residency.

Dr. Snodell is a member of such professional organizations as the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Southwest Society of Orthodontics and the Capital Area Dental Society. He is also a member of the Austin Orthodontic Study Club.

Dr. Snodell gives back to the community by doing volunteer work for St. David's Foundation, performing dental services on the mobile dental van, treating needy children in the Austin School District. He also volunteers to help the needy through Mobile Loaves and Fishes and the Knights of Columbus.

In his free time, Dr. Snodell enjoys time with his family: his wife Rita, a professor of Dental Hygiene at Austin Community College, his daughter Meagan and his son Nathan. He also enjoys running, playing tennis, hunting and fishing. Dr. Snodell and his staff strive to bring you the most comprehensive orthodontic treatment available.
